How to apply

Online application

Students can apply online:

Application deadline

Students will be admitted on a rolling basis.    
Final application date: 1 May 2015

Application materials must arrive at our office by this date.  If the deadline has passed, please email us to see if we will still accept your application. 

 

NFP/MSP Scholarship Applications deadline:

Applications are now closed.  If you are interested in applying for summer 2016, please check back at this website and Nuffic's in September 2015.  

Application fee

Application fee: € 25

  • Please use the credit card form for the application fee.  Send this to summer-info-gsss@uva.nl. Credit card forms will be deleted as soon as the payment has gone through.  
  • If you are within the EU and would like to pay via Bank Transfer, please send us an email.  We will send you the relevant information to make a transfer. 
  • The application fee of €25 will be waived if your application is received before 1 February 2015.
  • Those applying for the Nuffic Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) or The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Scholarship Programme (or MSP) are exempt from paying the application fee.
  • The application fee must be paid before your application will be sent to the Admissions Committee.  

Transcripts 

Please note that transcripts may be unofficial scanned transcripts. 

Letter of Recommendation 

Besides the online application, students should ask their referee to send the Letter of Recommendation via email to: summer-info-gsss@uva.nl .  The email should come directly from the referee and the subject line should read: SIP 2015– ApplicantsName). 

Referees are not required to use the form below, however, it can be a useful tool.
