Tuition fee

The fee for the Cities, Borders and Identities Winter School Rome 2017 is € 400. The fee covers both tuition and accommodation. Accepted applicants will be informed of the bank transfer details upon notice of acceptance to the Winter School after 5 June. The fee must be paid by 15 June 2017.

Participants belonging to Dutch universities are exempt from paying the fee. In order to be exempt, add a note about the name of the university as well as the name(s) of the research school to which you are affiliated to your application. If you are a Research master’s students, please include your student number.

A limited number of reductions are available for non-Dutch university participants with limited funding. If you would like to apply for a reduction, please add a motivation statement and budget overview to your application.

Cancellation policy

Participants may cancel their participation in the winter programme for a full refund, minus € 75 administration fee if the Winter School staff is notified in writing (e-mail is also valid) at least 30 days before the start of the programme. No refunds will be given after this date. In the event that a programme must be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants who have paid tuition will be reimbursed in full.

Additional costs

Participants will need to cover travel costs and personal expenses, including meals, themselves.
